How do I setup Okta multi-factor authentication?

How To Setup Multifactor for Okta

1. Login to Okta at galvanize.okta.com

2. Click on your name (dropdown) and click settings

3. Click on Edit Profile

4. Verify your password

5. Click send code, enter the code you receive via SMS, and click Verify

6. Scroll down to the Extra Verification section, and click Setup for either Okta Verify Mobile App or Google Authenticator

For Google Authenticator skip to step 8

7. Setting up Okta Verify:

1. Go to the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Windows Store
2. Search for Okta Verify
3. Download and install Okta Verify
4. Click Next

5. Open Okta Verify
6. Scan the barcode on the computer browser
7. Once Okta Verify is configured, click Next

8. Enter the 6 digit code displayed by the Okta Verify mobile app, click verify, then click done

8. Setting up Google Authenticator:

1. Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
2. Search for Google Authenticator
3. Download and install Google Authenticator
4. Click Next

5. In Google Authenticator, tap the + button, then tap Scan Barcode
6. Scan the barcode on the computer browser
7. Once Google Authenticator is configured, click Next

8. Enter the 6 digit code displayed by the Google Authenticator mobile app, click verify, then click done
